Project Overview

Provided expert services to prepare Environmental Due Diligence and Gap Analysis of Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Project Phase -3, Ministry of Energy Water Resources and Irrigation, Government of Nepal according to The World Bank Environmental and Social Framework. RJKIP is located in Kailali district of Sudurpaschim province, with its intake located in Chisapani of Karnali River. It is one of the National Pride Projects of Nepal. Phase -3 of the project is related to the Extension of Patharaiya irrigation system and the modernization of RJKIP. This project aims to improve irrigation services, boost agricultural productivity by increasing irrigation coverage, and build resilience to climate change. It also supports in conducting programs like watershed management, biodiversity conservation, integrated pest management and market connectivity improvement to improve overall livelihoods.
