
Associate Professor and Principal Advisor
Dr. Menuka Maharjan is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Forestry, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. She got her PhD degree from the University of Göttingen, Germany. Dr. Maharjan has more than 10 years of experience in the field of soil and water resources, climate change, and disaster management. She has got prestigious fellowships, i.e., Fulbright Visiting Scholar (USA) for her post-doctoral research, DAAD (Germany), and Erasmus Mundus PhD fellowship (European Union). In her short career, she has received various international research grants from IKI (Germany), SANDEE/ICIMOD,IFS (Sweden), DFID (UK), DANIDA (Denmark), etc. She has already published research papers in international peer-reviewed journals. And she is an associate editor for an international journal, i.e., Journal of Sedimentary Environment (Springer).
